Then it’s time for the thrilling game show itself, where the contestant is confronted with 16 sealed briefcases full of varying amounts of cash. The excitement mounts in each phase of the game as a predetermined number of briefcases are opened.

At the end of each briefcase opening phase, the mysterious entity is known only as “the Banker” offers a cash amount in exchange for what might be contained in the contestant’s briefcase — prompting the host to ask the all-important question: “Deal Or No Deal?”

Deal or No Deal Live is an exciting multi-layered hosted game show inspired by the hit Deal or No Deal TV game show. The version for online casinos combines RNG-based qualifying and prize-top up rounds, where winnings can be sky high!

The game’s objective is to predict whether the amount of money in the last 16 briefcases will be higher than the Banker’s offer.

To qualify for the game show, players have to spin the three-reel bank vault wheel and align gold segments in the upper central sector of the wheel. This unlocks the bank vault door and allows players into the game show.

To increase their qualification chances, the player can buy one or two rings by selecting ‘EASY’ or ‘VERY EASY’.

The gold segments on the bought rings will automatically be aligned on top. This increases the amount of the player’s selected bet by three times for one ring (EASY) and nine times for two rings (VERY EASY).

Players must do this within the qualification time shown in the countdown timer at the centre of
the wheel. If the player does not qualify in the qualification time, they will automatically be offered qualification for the next round.

Players can spin the wheel as many times as they wish in the time provided. Each spin will cost the player their selected bet amount. The bigger your bet, the bigger the value in the briefcases to qualify with for the game show.

Each spin sets the amount of money in the biggest-prize briefcase by 75x–500x the amount of
the player’s bet.

At any point in the qualification round, players have the option to select any of the briefcases to be the biggest-prized briefcase. To do this, they simply click/tap on one of the prize values listed down the left and right-hand sides of the game window.

They can do this as many times as they like in the time available.

The bigger the player’s bets during this qualification round, the bigger the value will be in the actual game show’s briefcases.

Once the player has qualified, the Top-Up wheel appears. The player now has the option to top up the amount of money in any of the briefcases by 5x–50x their bet.

To do this, they select their Top Up bet amount and spin the wheel.

Players can spin the Top-Up wheel as many times as they wish in the time provided. Each spin will cost the player their selected bet amount. Again, a countdown timer is shown at the centre of the wheel.

The player now enters the main game show as the contestant. The contestant’s briefcase is on the table at the front of the studio alongside the game show host and a hotline to the Banker.

The other 15 briefcases, set in two orderly rows, and the host’s assistant, are
just behind. Each of the 16 briefcases contains a number between 1 and 16 and they have been distributed randomly across the studio.

The amounts of money in the numbered briefcases are shown on the left and right sides of the screen. During the game show, the host’s assistant will gradually open the briefcases revealing the briefcase numbers and the amount of money they contain.

Once a briefcase has been opened, it no longer participates in the game show.

At the end of each phase of briefcase openings, the Banker — seen in silhouette at the back of the studio — makes a ‘DEAL OR NO DEAL’ offer specific for each player. That offer is relayed to each player on-screen.

Three of the 16 randomly distributed briefcases are opened. The Banker then makes a ‘DEAL or NO DEAL’ offer and waits for the contestant’s decision:

• If the contestant chooses ‘DEAL’, then the amount of money won by that contestant is displayed in the winning message and added to the contestant’s balance. At the same time, the contestant is offered the opportunity to return to the qualification round.
• If the contestant chooses ‘NO DEAL’, they continue to play.
• If they do not choose within the decision time, the decision is interpreted as ‘NO DEAL’ and play continues.

Four more randomly distributed briefcases are opened. Again, the Banker makes a ‘DEAL or NO DEAL’ offer and waits for a decision.

Four more randomly distributed briefcases are opened, followed by the Banker’s ‘DEAL or NO DEAL’ offer.

Three more randomly distributed briefcases are opened, leaving only the contestant’s briefcase and the one other remaining briefcase.

The Banker then makes a final offer with three options: ‘DEAL’, ‘SWITCH BRIEFCASES’ or ‘NO DEAL’ and waits for the contestant to make their decision:

• The contestant may choose ‘DEAL’ to take the offer and collect their winnings.
• The contestant may choose ‘SWITCH BRIEFCASES’ if they believe that the amount of money in the other last remaining briefcase is higher.
• The contestant may choose ‘NO DEAL’ and keep their assigned briefcase.

During the last opening, the two last briefcases are opened:

• If the contestant chose ‘NO DEAL’ for the Banker’s final offer, the contestant wins the prize of their assigned briefcase.
• If the contestant chose ‘SWITCH BRIEFCASES’, they win the prize of the other briefcase.

A message displaying the contestant’s winnings in the game show will appear on-screen, and the contestant is returned to the qualification round.

The prizes in the paytable do not include any top-ups that the player makes in the Top-Up Phase.
